in pictures . well loved

an old favourite from my own childhood has a become a go to book for miss li in recent days. it’s been pretty incredible watching her learn to read over the last couple of months and this is one of a handful that she has pretty much down, cover to cover.

forgive me for being a gushing momma, i’m pretty darn proud of the wee girl ;)

      good idea! maybe a bit shorter book though, haha. this one takes her a good ten minutes.

    Yeah Lila! SO so exciting! I teach kindergarten, the kiddos love Dr. Seuss… I think partly because of the length! I love how giddy children are when the learn to read, enjoy it Mama. I agree.. Video time!

      so giddy! i think part of what makes me so proud is seeing how proud she is of herself :) i’ll attempt a video soon!

    fantastic! I loved that book as a child!

    That’s great that she’s already reading! How did you get her started on that? Any resources you’ve used?
