she fell asleep an hour earlier than she normally does this evening. i think she’s a wee bit excited to be in her new bed :) also, the pattern continues.

    Such lovely shots, she looks so peaceful!

    Love that she’s a little bookworm:) do you mind me asking how she picked up reading so early? Was there anything specific you did to teach her such as a certain program or books?

      i keep meaning to respond to all of the questions on the video of her reading — need to do that! that said, we didn’t do any special in terms or a program or certain books. we’ve always read to her a lot, but i think her learning just stemmed from interest and a pretty good memory. she knew all of her letter sounds by around 2.5 (thanks in part to the starfall abc iphone app) and reading followed quite quickly from there.

    aw so pretty! Love that lamp and where did you purchase the forever print? I’ve tried finding it online, but it’s been tough. I did find one on a site, but it was $60.

    I absolutely love that style of lamp, but I recently purchased one, but a floor lamp style for the nursery and realized it gets nuclear hot. Is this one safe for a toddler?

      thanks for your concern glorianna :) lila’s lamp is a children’s lamp from land of nod and it doesn’t get warm at all. any chance you are using the wrong type of bulb in yours??
