in july we went camping with friends, this is the story of our weekend.
ps. want to see how much they’ve grown since last year’s trip? click here.
amazingly beautiful and happy! x
thank you so much lisa!!
thanks margarida :)
LOVE this video! Too cool..how or what program did you use to create it? I would love to do something like this when we go to our cottage on Labour Day.
lots of photos and imovie :) and thank you so much! have fun!
Love it when you do these!
thanks nina!! xo.
ahhhh this is just the motivation I needed. i did something similar for July long (inspired by your video from last year) but I haven’t quite gotten around the making a movie. what program do you use?
just imovie! it’s essentially a super fast slideshow :)
Fab! More please!
thanks you! i have a couple planned with clients for this fall, so hopefully you’ll be seeing many more soon :)
beautiful…what fun memories!
thanks cheyanne :)
Where did you get that tent from with the ladder? My husband and I would LOVE to get one of those!
we picked up ours in vancouver but if you google “rooftop tent” you’ll come up with lots of options! we love it :)
So how do you do these? Is it a certain program you put your pictures into? And are you taking a picture like every 5 seconds? :)
sometimes every 5 seconds, sometimes 5 per second — no rules :) and then i throw them into imovie!
Holy shit Andrea, this is so awesome!!!
My favorite was Cole with the ketchup, mustard and relish. haha
haha thanks amy!! that is totally one of my favourite scenes too.
This is AH-mazing! LOVE it!
I love this!! I’m desperate to know how you handle camping with the kids and taking photos. I just took my 2 kids (2.5 and 1) and it was a disaster. We left after 15 hours or so because my 1 year old wouldn’t stop crying. I love camping and hope she’ll like it one day.
Oh my! That’s the most amazing thing I’ve seen in a long time! You my dear, just need to be in a *few* more pictures! :)
Such a cute movie. What a treasure for the kiddos to be able to look back on your adventures.
so, so awesome. i know i’ve said it before, but your eye for life and the way way you present it and your creativity blow me away. this video put a big smile on my face!
It’s been a while since I started following your blog, and this time I couldn’t keep silent. :) Thank you for sharing these moments with us.
Kisses from Portugal.

wow!!!! loooove it!
I love love love this. So fun!
I remember watching the video you made last year and just falling in love with it. Once again I have such a big smile on my face! Thank you so much for sharing this!!
This is so wonderful! So cool to watch your pictures just come to life. And what a perfect way of memorializing what appears to be the best camping trip ever!!
I laughed, I cried… This is perfect, Andrea :)
I can’t tell you how much I love this!! So great.
Love It! You amaze me!
Your in-motion posts are my absolute favorite!
One question: when I make videos and upload to vimeo I always get song licensing issues. I normally buy the song from iTunes, use the Microsoft movie maker, upload, and then get an error. Have you had that issue at all?
You really are so talented. Love this so much!
Oh my heavens, this was AMAAAAAZING!! Sheesh, what a fun weekend and a fun way to capture it!
more more more!!! love it!
Brilliant.. how cool
This was lovely! What is the song you used?
So beautiful! As good as last years! I hope that you will share the song in the next “On repeat”….
Thanks for sharing!
I love this! The way you document your family is so inspiring. What program do you use to edit the photos themselves?
SO incredible! When Cole picks up those condiments, I just swooned! He makes me want to have a wee little boy!!
i just love these little stories about your adventures! so awesome! xo
I love this SO freaking much!! I love the flags and also, did your husband scale the trees?
WOW!! This is SO amaaaaaazing!
First of all, I live in Lethbridge and am so jealous that you were so close and I didn’t get a photo session with you!! It’s kind of been my dream since I’ve seen your photography. And my husband was a part of making those AB Parks fire pits. Made my heart happy :)
how do i get one of these oh talented one? ;)
i need videos like this of my own life… in my life.
Love, love, love this!! Such a lucky family to have a mama/wife to capture the simple joys of time spent together. I always find your work so inspirational: you capture the essence of what life is all about!
Love times a million!!!!!!
Amazing!!! looks so much fun :) LOVE this
I love this! Wow! Amazing.
Hey Andrea! I love this post so much, I smiled the entire time it was playing! I want to get you a wireless remote! You ought to be in some of these frames! For the sake of memories. You will love looking back on your family all together, and seeing your own beautiful self in the images! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work!
I love this so SO much! What a fun way to remember your trip. :-)
