played around with some double exposures today (following this tutorial). i’m not quite sure how i feel about the end result, but lila thinks it’s pretty much the coolest thing ever, so that’s good enough for me ;)
this is awesome. I am just.. wow
thanks nani!!
I love it. Very very cool. I can imagine a pair of these, this one of Lila and one of Cole, done with holly, facing each other, as a very cool Christmas card :)
that’s a really cool idea cass!! i’ll have to see if cole will sit still in the right conditions long enough for me to get a profile shot, haha.
Cool! Did you do this the old school film way or is it clever digital trickery?
Very cool – I hope you share more!
Love this!
that is pretty awesome!
I agree with Lila – coolest thing ever. =)
I agree with lila and think this is beyond awesome! I want one for jack’s room!!!!!
xoe
Really beautiful and original! Love it!
Looks awesome! Did you use Canon 5D MK III for this?
so good! I love it!! I’ve been dying to try this but alas a certain boy isn’t as keen as I am ;). But really this is fabulous!!
Love the result!! I’ve never seen before this photographic technique.
Very cool!
I think this is really fun – and I got to try something new with my camera that I had not tried before! I have been playing around and cant figure out how to get the drop out on the bottom of the frame so that it looks like she is floating! I know the tree was shot upside down. maybe i am underexposing the layer shot? My kiddo had on a dark colored outfit (I could see her dress to the bottom of the frame – maybe white? What is your secret? :)
what worked best for me was making sure to blow out the sky in both images. i did brighten up the bottom a bit in photoshop too!
