sometimes the light is a little bit harsh.
sometimes boots get filled with dirt.
sometimes dolls fall on the ground.
sometimes glasses are not on straight.
and sometimes that’s perfect.
today was a good day.

sometimes there is yelling.
sometimes there are tears.
sometimes everyone’s food tastes yucky.
sometimes you stay indoors even though everyone could use some fresh air.
and sometimes the only way to salvage an otherwise not so good day, is to head to the park in your pjs.
yesterday was not our best day. thankfully we turned it around just before bedtime.

this couch sees a lot of jumping and climbing and lounging everyday. it is one of my favourite spots in our home.
also, as evidenced here, if the television is on, there is pretty much no hope for any sort of eye contact from this girl.
