i’m at a photography convention this week (being inspired like crazy) and away from my kiddos for a couple of days for the first time. i got a quick chance this morning to facetime the kiddos while they play with my momma. can’t wait to hug them both crazy tight tomorrow :)

also, i have a pretty awesome post lined up for tonight. just sayin.

we have a tradition of reading this book to the kids on their birthdays — tonight lila decided to read it to mark for his :)

nothing within a foot or so of the floor is safe anymore — little cole is now crawling around, pulling up and chewing on everything in sight. i have a feeling there may be a little more baby proofing in our future than was necessary with miss li.
